Currently · Lead — Engineering at Zoho

I build the app that builds production-ready apps faster.

I specialise in low‑code platforms — the canvas people drag on, the compiler under it, and everything between.

Product

Rapid application builder

A low-code and no-code builder that compiles into working apps. One screen definition becomes an abstract syntax tree, then web, mobile and native output — three targets, no per-platform rewrite. I own the UX and build the front end and the code generation.

Data

Charting & mapping libraries

The chart and map libraries used across Zoho's analytics products — the rendering, projection and interaction layer that dashboards are built on. Projections from GeoJSON and TopoJSON, labels that stay readable at every zoom level, and hit-testing that holds with a few thousand points on screen.

What I do

From the canvas down to the compiler.

The parts I build, and the parts I keep running. End to end.

Product engineering

Definition, build, ship, run. The work that starts where the demo ends.

Low-code front end

Canvas, component trees, theming. The surface people design in.

Compilers

Parsing definitions into an AST, then generating more than one output.

AI generation

Apps generated from a prompt, with structured output and the guardrails around it.

Full stack

Angular and NestJS, Prisma and Redis. Auth, validation, caching, background jobs.

Payments

Razorpay, Paytm, PhonePe, Cashfree, Easebuzz. Integrated and reconciled.

Infrastructure

NGINX, DNS, DigitalOcean, AWS, transactional email, SMS over DLT.

Data visualisation

D3, projections, map labels. Charts that stay readable with long series.

About

Twelve years at Zoho: no-code tools for apps, dashboards and maps.

I work on front end and code generation for the app builder, and I own its UX. The work runs across teams — design, development, testing — and I take it 360, from the first design brief to the shipped build.

Most decisions start with the data model. If the definition is right, the screens follow. The AI features follow the same rule: generated output has to compile, or it doesn’t ship.

Ask about the platform, the compiler, or the libraries behind the charts. A sentence is enough.
